The Nets are certainly looking to exploit the Lopez/BBD matchup.

I really hate this lineup for the C's.

At the end of the first, Nets 29, Celtics 27... our defense is non existent at this point and the Nets have taken 12 free throws to our 3 (two on defensive 3 second).

Sheed/BBD in the frontcourt together does absolutely nothing for us on either end.

Dreadful display -- losing to the Nets after one quarter after having a ten point lead early in the contest?

Just awful, absolutely awful.

Now we get to listen to Maria on play by play for a quarter?

Wonderful.   ::)

This combination needs to stop ...

(1) KG + Perk
(2) KG + Sheed
(3) Sheed + Perk
(4) KG + BBD

Those are the four big man combinations that Doc should regularly use. No others.

Next best options are

(5) Scalabrine + Perk
(6) Scalabrine + Garnett

Then we get to

(7) BBD + Perk

And finally to

(8 ) BBD + Sheed
(9) Scalabrine + BBD
(10) Scabarline + Sheed

They really need to get Sheed into the game earlier, so that whoever he comes in for (KG or Perk), can come back in to replace whoever stayed in (KG or Perk).  That way we can maximize the KG/Sheed or Perk/Sheed frontcourt for more minutes.

Scal!!! Come on Doc!!! It's the Nets, so let's see if Landry can play.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Yeah, I'd say that sounds about right.

Please. Please. I'm about to become a Laker fan if Maria doesn't get off the air. Make this stop. Why is this happening?

Tommy used to do play by play on TV38 back in the day.

Push him to do play by play right now.  Maria can't handle this.

Maria, you are aware this is not the Summer League broadcast.

I've had first dates that have had less awkward silence than this.
