I could only get Sol, before he was gone again

do you think they'll retire his number? or does he need another tour of duty here?

I personally think he was a pleasure to have around.  He helped management get rid of a lazy seven footer, and may, in the future, net us a second round pick.

Yet, you never heard him speak out in the lockerroom.  He was a quiet leader, and unfortunately, the Celtics showed him the door.

There will also be a place for Will Solomon in the hearts of Celtics fans.

He didn't even get to have one of those awkward Draft Night photos where the guy puts on a team's cap only to be traded a few minutes later.

Do you think somewhere Will Solomon put on a Celtics hat for just a few minutes?

If so, do you think it was the happiest five minutes of his life?

edit: I'll answer that myself...Obvously it was the happiest five minutes of his life.  HE WAS A CELTIC  ;D
Yup

I am feeling a bit empty about losing Will.

On the plus side though, he was from Hartford, like Vin Baker and how did that work out?

I need help.  I am leaning towards this being the best thread all day.

Cross posted from the POB thread, but seemed like a better fit here:

Will Solomon, perhaps more than any other player, exemplified the true spirit of Ubuntu.  His personal wants and needs always came second to the needs of the team, and what the team needed was for him to get out of town.  Immediately.  Before even getting into town. To make room for a player to be determined later and a savings of a few hundred K.  And so, he went, with nary a word of complaint, or a word of any other kind, but not before teaching us all what true teamwork is really all about.  Good night, sweet prince.
