This is what happens when no one leads by example, where is the defense and rotations? Pierce and Bradley let JJ/Teague/Hinrich into the paint whenever they want it.

Idea: Don't run the Paul Pierce isolation offense every single possession.

that deflection to JJ for that 3 is like a sign that it's just not going to happen for the C's tonight.

on another note, Teague is using this series to make a statement that he's a legit starter in this league and a [dang] good one.  If the Hawks can keep their core together, in particular Smith, with Horford coming back, they could be a very good team next year with Teague's development, a decent FA swingman and a solid draft pick.

They are defending way better than us. This is killing me. Atlanta Hawks... Defending better than us...

And now Atlanta shots are starting to fall with regularity.  This game, with 3 minutes to go in the third quarter, is over.

I don't know what happened at half time, but they came out of the lockerroom with way less energy then the start of the game.  Horrible, careless play to the point where I've been insulted watching...the fact that this team can get its fans to believe they can maybe make at least a bit of an interesting run and then come out to start the first 2 playoff games with this crap?

Infuriating.

we're not winning this game if we keep playing this way. the offense has been bad, the defense has been bad...unless we change change how we're playing, we have no chance.

Man, if I were Doc i'd leave Dooling in the rest of the game.  The guy is ENERGIZED and FOCUSED, much unlike the rest of the team.

Steamer out and Bass stays in
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
