Surprised by complete lack of trying to get Jaylen Brown the ball in this half.

The Nets backups are atrocious offensively.
I would argue that the C’s are clamping down on them more now

Oh  disagree completely, I mean the defense has been a little better maybe but taking Dwinddie off the court and the Nets backup PG is just terrible.

Its kind of incredible. I mean why are Wanamaker and Javonte Green getting more touches some posseions than Jaylen?

I think a lot of the other people here are still in a food coma.

God to see Tatum hitting his three today. he hadn't hit any in the three games since that LA game.

We need to keep taking advantage of Jordan when he gets switched onto our wings. There's been a few plays where Jaylen had Jordan on him (and sagging way off), but we didn't get him the ball to take advantage (or take advantage of the mismatch inside)
I'm bitter.

I whine a lot about Tatum. Terrific half from him and probably the biggest reason we're still in this game. Brad often throws him to the wolves with some bench units, and once again, they didn't do half bad.

I continue to not see what Edwards contributes that Waters could not. But I don't see them in practice.

Great close to the quarter except for that Jordan dunk where the team just had a massive brain fart defensively.

Team has to do better in their perimeter defense. Sure, Brooklyn hit a bunch of contested threes but they also had a whole bunch of open threes as well. Gotta do better to win this game.

A few of Smart’s shots need to go to Brown IMO.  Dude shoots too much when he’s cold.

In theory, superior shooting and the ability to be a microwave/one man offense off the bench

Right now, he mainly just has a better contract situation. We can only have Waters up for 45 days, and it looks like we'll save those for if/when Kemba or Smart miss time. We should definitely sign him to a 4 year contract next summer, though. He looks ready
I'm bitter.

Yeah, any half where Smart has as many shots as Kemba and Jaylen combined is a half where the offense was not running the way it should.

Smart ignored Jaylen wide open at the 3 because he was trying to get back at the Nets player who scored on him. Let his ego get in the way.

If we keep allowing open 3s, teams are gonna get into a rhythm and shoot better on contested 3s. I'd rather have a few fewer steals if it meant better contesting on 3s
I'm bitter.

I was cursing Jayson out in the first quarter he was a turnover machine. But man he redeemed himself in 2nd q.

We’re good JT.

Yeah.  I don’t mind him getting his looks when he’s feeling it, but that’s clearly not the case today.  He’s 1-8.
