If Theis and Kanter are both out, does Semi get the start because it’s Giannis?

There's a good chance.

These guys are just a bad match up for the C's with Horford gone.  The key - and this will be the case in any game vs Milwaukee or Philadelphia -- is that they have to shoot well.

Giannis can very easily go for 40+ on any night vs the C's. You either get bludgeoned by him and the Lopez Brothers with their length or scorched from outside by Middleton Illyasova, Korver & co. Even Brook Lopez can hurt you from 3 pt range now.

The good news is that for one game, anything can happen. But get this team in a series...no chance without our 4-5 situation dramatically improving.

Do we think Kanter’s injury is more serious than they’re letting on? Or just being cautious...

doesnt sound good

Enes Kanter remains out for tomorrow's game here in Boston against the Celtics on ESPN with a left knee contusion. The status of Daniel Theis, who sat out Saturday with a sprained ankle, is still to be determined.
Just play Robert Williams and Poirier at C lol.

I think this pretty much sums it up.  Didn't the Celtics break their franchise record for threes in the lone regular season win against Milwaukee last year???

The reliance upon perimeter shooting isn't going to change unless we see a sizable improvement from at least two of Hayward, Jaylen, and Tatum.  So far so good for Jaylen.  Gordon is getting close but we still haven't seen true flashes of his Utah self.  As for Tatum, it might be best for him to settle into a sharpshooter role for this season.  The major exception to this is when he has a clear angle to the hoop and/or matchup.  His primary focus needs to be on quick decision making, especially because he's surrounded by better facilitators.

Theis is available tonight, per the Twittersphere. I imagine he’ll start.

Over/under:  Number of free throws Giannis attempts in this game - 14

I'm going with over, especially because it's a nationally televised game.

I didn't watch the Lakers vs Grizzlies game last night, but per the box score AD shot 27 free throws last night.  That is insane.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

NBA is desperate to make the Lakers relevant again particularly with Bron on the team.  can't 'waste' another year of the cash cow not on the primetime stage of the playoffs
