Rozier sorta reminds me of Avery when Avery was starting to get good
Yeah... Avery Bradley without the good shot selection and the premium defense. Otherwise, just like him.
He might be better at going to the hoop than Avery was and possibly a better passer and ball handler
Wouldn't that make him not like Avery Bradley? I see a lot more Jordan Crawford here than Avery Bradley.
Well defense is part of the game too

Not a great game for Morris
I mentioned that earlier in the game.  He also didn’t get a break from the refs.  If he had been a little better this would have been a blowout much earlier.

I actually think Korver was the person who kept this from being a blowout.  We lost him for a few possessions in the second quarter and he kept them hanging around.  Morris made a couple of very visible mistakes and didn't shoot well, but he also did some good things tonight.  His willingness to screen is an underrated quality on offense.

It is, and Rozier is not all that great.

I wonder why you'd think this, given that the Celtics have trended down, and the Cavs have trended up so far.

I will go out on a limb and say because Celtics have more youth.

Yes, and he also did a decent job defending LeBron. It’s just that we all know he is a better shooter than he showed tonight.

You don't think IT taking Calderon's minutes will make them better?  I do.

Yup, and it looks like the Cavs are slow and old.  How are they going to make it to May?

They look slow and old every year then they start trying in the playoffs and blow everyone away.

Love played half a game and IT was out. It was the back end of a back to back too.

Great win, but that Cavs team barely resembles the squad that we may see in the playoffs

Defensive metrics really like Rozier this year.  His consistency needs to improve, but he's capable of being a very good defensive player.

Also, IMO Bradley's defense is overrated.

Really great win for us. Now we KNOW that we can beat Cleveland, and we did it handily without needing Kyrie heroics to do it.

It is amazing how much more energized we look defensively now that we've had some rest and practice time. The last several games we've looked more like the 16 win streak team than the team the rest of the season.

Also, Morris really, really helps us, even if it doesn't show up in the box score.

Minus Kevin Love and Isaiah Thomas.

Yeah, because Love was tearing it up in his 21 minutes before sitting down (his 1-11 came when he was mostly fine). I am pretty sure him not playing the rest of the game was actually a benefit for the Cavs.

As for IT - well, we were without Hayward. That is more than a fair swap.

Great, easy win for the Cs. I know it's one they 'should have' won, but it's still great to get a win against your biggest rival.
