Halfway through the season for the Celtics, both the Irving and 1# pick trades are looking like excellent decisions.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
IT hugging everyone including Steve Pagliuca.  Wonder if Danny approached him.

Apparently they hugged before the game.

Hope IT leaves Cavs next year for anyone not named Lakers! He looks so not right in those crappy colors! Hope he stays healthy for rest of career.

Cavs hit a bit of a wall here...good news

I agree they shot a lot poorly than usual, but the team does look old. Couldn't keep up with the fast pace tempo all game. Certainly something to monitor as the season progresses and they play more games and log more minutes.

Not a great game for Morris
I mentioned that earlier in the game.  He also didn’t get a break from the refs.  If he had been a little better this would have been a blowout much earlier.

Really great win for us. Now we KNOW that we can beat Cleveland, and we did it handily without needing Kyrie heroics to do it.

It is amazing how much more energized we look defensively now that we've had some rest and practice time. The last several games we've looked more like the 16 win streak team than the team the rest of the season.

Also, Morris really, really helps us, even if it doesn't show up in the box score.

They would be best off following Spurs gamebook and keeping Lebron and company as fresh as possible for playoffs.

great great win, can someone correct me if i am wrong, this is the first legit win over a LeBron team in a long long time, and not a game winner or nail biter

The problem is that if we thing we'll beat Cleveland by holding them to 35% shooting each game, we're in for a nasty surprise. The first half wasn't all that great (should have been up by more). Cleveland ran out of gas, but we're not going to play them on the tail end of a back-to-back in the playoffs. Trap win.

And on a second day of a back-to-back.

Still a good win!
