The Boston Celtics and free-agent forward Dario Saric said to have reached a "strong agreement" on joining forces for the upcoming season, league sources say

The deal offered, I’m told, is three-year offer sheet worth $67 million. More info will be given in the next few hours.

This would have to be a piece from the prospective Hayward TPE, right? That’s about $22.3m a year

Hope thats the case. You can start Saric  And keep Smart on the bench and keep the offense stretched and move Tatum to the SF spot were he might do even better.

Now lets sign IT and make a run! LOL

Ok, I’m all excited again.  I liked Bogdan better, but Saric will do.

After his first year or two, it seemed like he was on his way to becoming a borderline all star type.

He's a tough, smart and versatile player who plays with poise. He would be great on this team.

Stevens will not play more than one traditional big.  If the guy can play outside on O and D, Pass well, shoot from outside etc they have a place.  Hortford is a good example.  He played a bunch of PF with baynes.  Its all about match ups...expecially on D

Yeah, I literally just posted that while Saric would be a good fit we didn’t really have room for him and there he is. He would fit we as a stretch 4.

That can't be real. No way would they pay Saric that type of money.

Saric is a 7th / 8th man on a good team. He is a bench player. He is doing well to get MLE money.

There has gotta be a typo / mistake of some kind in that number.

That's the only way we could afford it, so it must be

I haven't seen Saric play much recently, so this seems high to me. Has anyone been watching him since he left Philly?
I'm bitter.

I just looked up Marc Stein’s Twitter account and don’t see it there.

I was wondering if he would settle for a one year $5 mill deal.  Three years for $20+ Mill per sounds a bit rich.

Probably if true. I just copied and pasted it from brightsideofthesun .. but it seemed somewhat legitimate
Huge overpay for a player that never lived up to expectations.
