And you would think Wizards will finally not let CJ miles get open. Nope.

Any thoughts as to why Amir Johnson gets the backup Center mins over Richaun Holmes?
Coach Brown is a defensive coach and Holmes defense isn't that good.

Cleveland down 5 late in the 4th to Denver. Would be another big loss for them and yet another example of why those wins against Boston and OKC right before the ASB were a bit of a mirage.

Cavs lose one with Lebron playing 42 minutes.  They might not have home court in the 1st round.

TP.  His defense and rebounding continue to improve though.  It just seems odd to favor Amir over him at this point.

Ha! Cleveland's defense is still a joke.

Those wins over Boston and OKC before the ASB were flukes. I think it's fair to say both teams were kind of wary since they barely had film on the new-look Cavaliers and didn't really know how they'd function (how many minutes would this guy play? what's their small ball lineup? big lineup?)

Kevin Love coming back should help them, but his defense was also pretty bad while healthy, so yeah, CLE can outscore many teams but won't outscore the likes of Houston, Golden State, and probably not even Toronto with the bench TOR has this season (props to them).

It would be interesting if they did miss the playoffs they make a mutual decision with Kawhi to trade him. They are capped out and any other trade would weaken them, although i'd say the team that took on Kawhi would have to take on most probably Pau or LMA's bad contracts.

LMA is playing at an all-star/all-nba level.  If his contract is bad then so is Horford's.  I think both are tradable but neither would get you that much in return.

If the Spurs do trade Kahwi, adding Pau would reduce the value they get back and they'd probably still have to salary match.  What they should do is take on a bad contract to increase the value they get back.

I like Holmes.  I wanted us to draft him instead of Mickey.  He's definitely improved but he's still inconsistent on defense.  Coaches value consistency.  With the addition of Ilyasova, I think Amir and Holmes will lose playing time.  They both could be out of the playoff rotation.

LMA's contract isn't bad. Pau is partially guaranteed $6.7M for 2019-20, so not too bad either. The contract I don't like is Patty Mills who is in the first year of a 4-yr, $50M contract.

This is the craziest meltdown I have seen. 25 point turnaround and they are turning it over every possession

No accountability there.  Hinkie died for everyone's sins.  If Holmes gets in and spurs a run, I TP myself.
