I believe Rozier had a 10 million dollar cap hold and we signed him for 19 million and change, then moved him. So we got like 9 million in cap space we didn't have before.

Got it, thanks.

Now, Ainge needs to move his backside and get somebody, fast.

Cousins?
Anyone!

Wait, what? That's not true. If we were going to sign Kemba outright, we had just enough money to do it. This meant releasing our cap hold on Rozier. By signing and trading Rozier for Kemba, it is no different than just signing Kemba as a FA. Unless I am totally missing something, Rozier has no effect on our cap space.

At this stage I just want some big, lol. A guy like Kyle O'Quinn or Faried would be good with me.

Correct, unless there’s another (unlikely) shoe to drop.

If it is no different why did we do it?

The Hornets might actually give the Cs something for Rozier.

I’d be happy with Willy Hernangomez

Ainge is the only person on Earth who could manage to get assets from a team for taking on their all star in exchange for them overpaying his bad player. Similarly, Jordan is the only owner who would agree to such a thing.

Do Hornets get Rozier and a trade exemption out of this?

Yeah.  Of course, it seems the celts are the ones doing the hornets a favor as they could have signed walker without the sign and trade.  It seems charlotte could not have signed rozier.

I'd be really happy with Hernangomez but is there any info on that happening. There have been so many deals today my head is spinning.

Yeah, I think that is right. Hopefully it's Hernangomez though! That would be a steal. Young, can shoot the three, is an aggressive scorer and a really solid rebounder. His offensive rebounding % was better than Steven Adams and wasn't much lower than Andre Drummond's
