The Kings are open to trading Halliburton?

https://www.si.com/nba/76ers/.amp/news/nba-rumors-kings-deaaron-fox-tyrese-haliburton-available-trade

If that’s true, the Cs need to be talking to SAC about him.
Not sure what we have to offer. They don't even need Timelord cause they already got 4 Centers. I could see the Kings proposing something like Haliburton+Barnes for Brown, at which point I'd hang up the phone.

Yeah I love Halburton, but we don't have the right pieces to offer the Kings...especially in regards to his 4 million dollar salary.

My god, that boxscore for LAL against MEM.

LeBron with 35pts 7ast on 14-19 FGAs (33min). The rest of the starting lineup? Not one single player in double digit points.

Stanley Johnson = 2pts 13min 1-4 FGAs
Westbrook = 6 points 26min 2-12 FGAs
Avery = 7pts 23min 2-10 FGAs
Monk = 7pts 29min 3-13 FGAs

Total = 91min 22pts 8-39 FGAs

Looks like LAL was taking a brutal beat down from the Grizzlies until the bench made a late (meaningless) run to narrow the scoreline to make it look respectable.

Yeah, well I think of the defense contractor of the same name who made a ton of money during the Iraq war thanks to Dick Cheney.

Nice story with Klay Thompson making his comeback. He played just 20 minutes but managed to jack up 18 shots for 17pts.

It looks like GSW made their run when Klay went to the bench and Jordan Poole took his place as GSW beat Cleveland. Kinda surprised Klay went right into the starting lineup after all this time out and with the team playing so well without him. It'll be interesting to see if this becomes a trend were the team plays much better whenever Klay isn't on the floor. Something to watch outfor.

I'm not at all surprised he was in the starting lineup, but it doesn't matter anyway as he only played 20 minutes.  Klay is a superb defender, but that's one skill that may take a while for him to get back.

Guys..... to acquire Haliburton we'd need to trade Brown. Question is: how good of a package could we develop around him?

Example ~~ Haliburton, Hield, Barnes, and a 1st for Brown and Horford. Some version of that would at least need to be pondered by Stevens and Wyc. Perhaps add in Metu in exchange for one of our lousy bench players.

I'm sure I'll get all the usual vitriol for suggesting it as a possibility, but Haliburton could be the top PG in the East within a season or two. And if the Celtics are "hanging up" on SAC with that type of basis, then Stevens isn't doing his job. Current team's future is shaky, at best.

Yeah! On that block and the dunk it looks like he jumped 44-45” above the court.

Ja is truly something else. I hope he stays healthy for a long time. What a treat to watch, and such a cool find for the people of Memphis.

He's probably the nuttiest athlete in the league.  Which is saying something, because there are a lot of great ones right now.

His dunk wasn’t too shabby, either. Unreal athleticism.
