Great hustle from Australia! But US look painfull for now. Without Durant it would be under 20... Maybe they will again wake up second half like ag CZ and Spain...

EDIT finally they didn't need 2d half they made a run even befoe. Tatum, who doesn't looks good, missed the 3 to tie.

Especially with how they're athletically MILES ahead of everyone.

I feel like all their slow starts are just from adjusting to the effort they have to put in, both on offence and defence, in FIBA rules.

It's like it takes them a minute to realise they're actually this good.

Really shows that it’s hard to throw a team together 3 weeks before a major competition no matter how talented they are

And they are living on KD and jrue right now, leading by 9 now. Kd has taken over

Really feels like the USA just showed up for 15 mins of basketball. And that's enough, with their level of talent.

Unfortunately the Aussies had a bad 10 mins in the 3rd quarter where they were outscored 32-10 and that was the game.

Thought Durant was always likely to take over, Thybulle is the only player we have capable of slowing him down a little.

Yet another bronze medal playoff for us, been here many times...

Well played by the US, blew it open in the 3Q.

France or Slovenia in the Final will be a tough one.

They only played well for one half but it was enough. Australia played bad for 10 min and that was the end of it.

Fournier just fouled out on a dumb offensive foul.  Slovenia then drains a three to get within 1.  A lot of self inflicted wounds for France.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatuuuuuuuuuuuuuum .... What a block ! We almost blew it, but an incredible referee mistake also cost us 3 to 5 points 3 minutes before the end, even if I didn't rewatch the action..

It is great moment, 21 years later we are again in Olympic final against US; funnily the Parker generation didn't get it (even a semi final), but the generation before (Rigaudeau) and this one did it... This time we have a chance, we beat US twice, but I know it will be very hard. Our size and hopefully a mental advantage with our 2 last wins will put the balance in our ranks and we will follow Argentina and do the impossible !

Not always in a winning country, in France we are many times beautifull loosers and tend to like it and at the same time complain about it (me the first); but it is a great day for collective sports : we are in final in Handball, Basketball and Volley lead 2 sets to 0. Women have 2 chances also tomorow in Hand and Basket (even less chances). It is historic and I am proud today of my compatriots  ;D  Cocorico !
