I am trying to see if I can cut cable since I don't really watch TV other than the Celtics and Patriots. Does anyone has a much cheaper option where I can just pay FIOs for internet and then pay a subscription to just watch the NBA or NFL every year. I looked at the Amazon Fire TV Cube the other day at the amazon store and it looks interesting and the rep says you can catch most sports if it's on local TV, ie baseball and football, but since the Celtics only play on either NBATV, ESPN or CSN, does anyone have a recommendation?

Another option I see is paying for NBA league pass and buying a VPN service to route my traffic from another state to catch the Celtics game and did the calculations, and it came out to be about $20ish / mo (correct me if I am wrong)

I use psvue for TNT, nba tv, and fox sports and then pay the nba league pass for just the Celtics.

I think league pass is around $100 for the year.

Ps vue is about $55 a month.
