Not the prettiest of games, but a Game 5 win is always a thing of beauty. Stifling D wore down Mr. Bronnie. I loved getting Baynes back in the starting lineup to neutralize Thompson.
My votes:
Tatum 3: The kid was clutch all night.
Baynes 1: You can't underestimate what his presence brings to the team.
Smart 1: Solid bounce back night for Marcus.
Horford 1: Not the greatest shooting night, but he did a lot of banging.

Tatum
easy choice
-
Our soon to be legendary rookie assuming we make the finals and he keeps on scoring well.
-
Tatum 2
Smart 2
Jaylen 1
Horford 1
All four played terrific defense all night. Tatum probably deserves 3, but I wanted to give Jaylen some credit for playing tough defense and contributing on offense by getting to the line even though he clearly isn't 100% right now.

Voted the exact same way as OP.
Baynes was absolutely crucial to our strong start, with his ring protection and shot-blocking.

I went with:
2 Tatum: his defense set the tone early and big shots throughout the game kept our lead. Youngest player ever to score 20+ in an ECF game.
1 Horford: has a game we needed from him, did everything as usual.
1 Smart: couple of big threes, usual great defense.
1 Morris: excellent individual defense on LeBron, couple big buckets and always brings the intensity.
1 Baynes: he eliminated Thompson’s effectiveness from the get and really does all those little things we need.

Tatum was naills on D and on O. He got 3 votes.
Brown got one because he stayed aggrieved though he was struggling.
Horford got a vote for being Horford again and steadying the team.
Baynes..he was huge all night on defense and also managed to score points.

Tatum was my MVP last night, so I gave him 2 votes.
1 for Horford, Baynes, Brown, and Smart who were also excellent. I wanted to sneak Baynes in their for everything he did last night on the defensive end. He wrestled in the paint but also switched onto Lebron a couple of times and held his own.
-
3 for Tatum who deserves more but for the effed up constraints of the poll
3 for Baynes who was the biggest difference otherwise.
-
Can I vote for Ty Lue?
-
Tatum seemed like the clear MVP of the game, so he gets 3 votes from me
Baynes gets 1 for being the exact change we needed in the starting lineup
Horford gets 1 for being a great vet presence and managing to finally end that awful scoring drought
Smart gets 1 for shooting great while also playing great D
