I don't understand the Cavs offense at all.

You have a semi-skilled big man in Mobley. Skilled in terms of handles, driving, finishing, little short shots. Small big of a midrange game. But you use him like he is Tristan Thompson. Why?

You gotta get him involved in the game. Use dribble hand offs. Use short rolls on the PnR. Get him moving. Get him the ball on the move. Let him attack an off balance defense.

Mobley is the not the type of player who can beat people with muscle. He has to beat people on the move with his quickness. He has to have guards who get him the ball on the move. Neither D Mitchell or Garland do that.

Nor does the offense give Mobley opportunities like this. They treat him as a non-skilled garbage man like Tristan Thompson. Play off ball. Stay away. Maybe a PnR roll opportunity. Often just stand on the baseline and avoid the ball. Wait for a rebounding opportunity.

It is awful to watch.

He has looked pretty bad in the 2nd half.

Cleveland back in this bigger perimeter lineup with LeVert in for Garland. This time Strus instead of Sam Merrill at SG.

G: D Mitchell
G: Strus
F: LeVert
F: Okoro
C: Mobley

I thought Garland was a legitimate second option next to Mitchell.  Guess not.  He looks like a crippling liability at both ends of the court.

Mitchell doesn't have enough gas left in the tank to drag this team to a win by himself.  Somebody will have to step up.

Having two small guards as your best two players is not a good strategy.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Looks like you guys are going to get your wish. Garland having a horrible game and Cleveland missing their 2nd best player and that are just beating Orlando in every aspect of the game right now.

They certainly started the game out horribly, but this is exactly why I wanted to play Orlando. They are tough, but they just don't have enough top end talent. Cleveland with Allen and an average Garland are a much scarier team imo

Idk, Cavs are only down 4 and have all the momentum currently. Orlando is just young and inexperienced and it's showing a bit in the past 10 minutes of basketball (late 2nd/early 3rd)

That was my point. A lot of people want to play the Cavs and I wanted to play the Magic. Based on the way this game has gone, I am basically conceding this game to Cleveland at this point.

Franz Wanger only 4pts on 1-9 FGA.

He does have 5 assists though.

I like Mo Wagner coming in here to open up ORL's offense.

Nice drive by Fultz.

He’s good. But he doesn’t have enough around to carry them past the Celtics.
