Can someone help me out?

I'm considering 'unplugging' my cable, and moving strictly to AppleTV. It looks like you can now access LeaguePass through AppleTV.

I live in the Boston area, and have been told Celtics broadcasts are blacked out. Is this true? Can someone advise if you can watch CSNNE broadcasts some of the time (?) or all of the time (?) via LeaguePass?

Thanks.

Local games are blacked out where I am, but I am no longer in Boston so it isn't a big deal.

Your best bet may be to get the cable log-in info from somebody you know well (like family) and watch the games at CSNNE.com since they stream all games (in good quality, too).

So you can watch Cs games, you just get the away announcers?

i unplugged but for some reason can still access csnne's celtics broadcast on the NBC media player app. guess Time warner Cable didn't forward my cancelation and the log in name/password still works.

knock on wood it stays that way.

only problem is the game looks really small on an Ipad...

No but I can tell you that you would probably need a VPN connection into a server outside your region or a proxy server to reroute traffic to a different region.

That would get you around the blackouts.

Good luck on your mission.

It's weird because I live in Brookline and am not blacked out of the Celtics on league pass. However, I went over my friend's house in somerville and tried to put my password into his xbox one and the Celtics game was blacked out for him.

Chances are if you unplug the games will be blacked out for you, but there is a chance you will still be able to watch the games.

Even if the games are blacked out you can still watch them a couple of days later on league pass.

I am in upstate new york and have league pass. Knicks and Nets games are blacked out for me. (that's just a blessing actually) Don't know if that helps your cause. My guess would be in Boston the C's games would be blacked out on league pass.

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe there's a free trial this coming weekend, so you should have a chance to kick the tires.

Ssspence, it's true that games are blacked out in Boston.  You won't be able to watch the games on LeaguePass until 72 hours after the original air date.  Games that aired on NBA TV or ESPN / ABC will be available 12 hours afterward.

You can't get local games on League Pass
