Made a rough draft board for myself under the mentioned rules, and I underestimated how many really good players would be available. Got to a little over 60 players, and that's without going for a deeper dive into hidden gems.
Also looking over the top 75, it's laughable that Lillard got on over other players who I believe deserve in much more.
Was that list with or without current players?
I just looked it up, and 302 players in league history have made multiple all-star games. 443 have made at least one.
My concern would be having enough talent to sustain really good rosters 1 through 10 (or 1 through 12, however many rounds there are). If there are 12 GMs and 12 rounds, that's 144 players, so it seems like everybody will have a shot at 12 all-stars if they want them.
That said, if we cut out top-75 *and* current players, that seemingly would cut the player pool down significantly? I'd at least push Moranis' proposed deadline up, and say nobody drafted after 2015.
