i always find it amazing the threads we see here...everyone always says boston basketball fans are one of the most knowledgeable if not the most knowledgeable fans in basketball...you wouldn't know by reading celtic blog...every game...rondo is the best...rondo is the worse....pierce is the best...pierce is the worst...blow it up...don't blow it up....it's real easy to take pot shots and compare someone's good game vs someone's bad game...or even comparing someone's good game to someone else's good game...then...everyone wants to pretend they just came from the MIT/Sloan conference and start quoting numbers like they are the only ones that can surf the net...it sounds like people pumping themselves up and acting like know it alls...

There are some real polarizing topics with the Celts these days.

Couple that with the fact the Celtics are transitioning to a new era and are probably not a contender for the first time in 5 years....yeah this place is getting a bit testy.

It's still a great place to take the pulse of Celtics nation...

rondo had a "great" game...sorry not to quantify like the people at the MIT / Sloan conference...here's the ridiculous thing...read the other threads...other people want to start using rondo's game today and use it in a comparison...i think enjoying the moment would be sage advice...if you don't believe me...go ask kg what he thought about rondo's game...he's saving the score sheet...

This is a classic knee-jerk rational post that comes after a few wins at the midpoint of the season.  I'm sick of these knee-jerk rational posts... there's no place for them on a celtics discussion forum.  If the Celtics were in the midst of a losing-streak you'd probably be posting some knee-jerk rational "patience" post instead of a knee-jerk rational "stop being a know it all" post.

My opinion hasn't changed since last season when it finally became clear that Shaq wasn't returning.  Either a starting center falls out of the sky or the time is ripe to blow it up.  Lets do it!

Yep.  Hard to post a thread around here that everybody likes without reservation.

Also, I might add:

Threads that break CB rules:

-- threads calling out or labeling other posters.

The person who posted this thread should keep that in mind.
