Yeah, I think we've hit it now.

A whole 10 games back of the 1 seed (whoa) and frankly the chances at the 3 seed feel minuscule

Frustrating season.

Yeah, we're still like 5.5 games ahead of the 6 seed  :P

This team just isn’t good. Brad has done a horrible job as well this year. They will be getting bounced in the first round. This might be my least favorite Celtics team of all time. At this point I casually watch. To end up with the 5th or possible 6th seed is absolutely unacceptable. The problem is every single player, except for Smart, is worrying about their individual moves in the off season or worrying about playing time and their stats. Brad doesn’t have the right personality to deal with this.

Does any coach have the personality to deal with this? Seriously.

Honestly, we competed tonight. We got outrebounded (predictable given their personnel) and our offense stalled for stretches. But the fight was there in a way it wasn't last night.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

It’s a sad sign of how much I’ve had to reset my expectations that I thought tonight was a sign of progress  :-\ at least we had energy and hustle and effort for 3 of the 4 quarters, unfortunately the quarter we switched off cost us. Shooting was abysmal and while they moved the ball well in the 1st half during the 3rd they resorted to their jack up 3s and bad shots habit again.

But at least they fought till the end.

What a crapfest this team is right now. They're a measly 5th in the conference, with little hope of moving up, they're 0-4 since the all-star break, and some fans are talking about how tonight's loss was "progress." That's a pathetic state of affairs.

I'm also tired of seeing the Celtics NOT make adjustments; they don't adjust to their opponents, they don't attack favorable matchups consistently, they don't adjust their offense when the 3s aren't falling. Doc never emphasized offensive rebounding, and neither does Brad, yet every time we play a team that DOES emphasize it, they kill us. Brad also loves small ball, but every time we play a team with size, they kill us.

Why is this team so dang rigid?

These four losses on top of the Lakers and Clippers losses spelled doom for the season.

And I thought this team would be scary for the rest of the league with the return of Irving and Hayward. Boy was I so wrong.

We still haven't hit rock bottom, not even close.

Rock bottom would be ending up out of the playoffs this year with the talent we have on our team...That would result in multiple players traded or not resigned and another mini roster purge.  It would also start to put a little bit of heat on Brad Stevens.  I said a little, not a lot.

I personally don't think we bottom out this year.  We will make the playoffs, and either be out the first round, or if we really turn it around we make it to the 2nd round.  I just can't see us winning multiple playoff series when we don't have HCA.
