Its up to Williams to make Time refer to his mistakes when he was late, or make it refer to Timing for his blocks.

September 9, 2013:  "I think robert williams is a timelord he never aged i watched ms doubtfire the other day and i was amazed lol"

He immediately corrected himself by saying he meant to say Robin Williams... but the fact there's a person calling Robert Williams "timelord" 5 years ago sticks with the time travel theme.

Is this for real? That seals the deal for me. I realize the nickname isn't the most complimentary, but it is pretty bad-ass and he says he is okay with it. If Williams goes on to be a successful player, it will be even cooler and also less meaningful in a bad way.

Time Lord it is - sorry, Robert  :-\  ;D

I agree with Ainge that it’s a poor nickname and has negative connotations too, sorry if this has already been pitched but ‘Lob Williams’ is much better IMO.

How about "Langolier"?

I have a feeling that Danny threatened him to the effect that The Langoliers was going to get him if he continued to be late and oversleep.

Ainge also told him he was going to place him on a plane with Craig Toomey.

This would be enough to make most folks walk the straight and narrow.

Whatever Danny, Brad or his teammates did to him seems to have helped - dude has a future in BOS I think.

Awesome play from him as of late - love his activity.

Other than Rondo, we haven't really had many "wow" guys over the last decade. Feels like we have about 4 now (Smart, Tatum, Kyrie, Jaylen, Timelord.

Kids love his dunks...

This...and I'm fine with Time Lord as well, as long as Williams is.
That said, I like Fly Williams. Reminds me of Sly Williams, the nickname not their games, back in the day. He just Flies out of no where sometimes and blocks a shot, snatches a board or slams it through.

Edit: Lob (Lobbert!) Williams could easily stick as well.

Fly Williams is already taken.  One of the greatest streetball players ever and played a bit in the ABA before his career got derailed.
