I loved Gordon’s confidence in taking that game winning shot we need him confident. He only scored 12 but was pretty influential

Only downside to Gordon playing well is Jaylen Brown will not be able to play in crunch time.

Teams that aren't playing as big, they can put Brown in for Morris

for as bad as we were during that losing streak
we are still 3rd in the league in point differential, a stat that seems a bit overlooked sometimes.

we are only behind Mil and GS in that stat.
That stat is overlooked because honestly its meaningless. They don't hand out championships for point differential. A lot of that was accumulated during that hot streak mid year when we beat the bulls by like 60 and beat up on the lotto teams.

I think it will probably be whoever is playing the best lately to be honest. But we'll see.

That wasn't a lotto team we beat last night!

Curious as to why Stevens would put Brown in for Rozier on the previous Kings possession (where Hayward fouled Hield), but not for the final Kings possession.

Is Brown not the superior defender?

I dont think Smart was in there either, was he? But hey, it all worked out.

Worked out, just odd.

Kings ball, down 3 with 16 seconds left,  Stevens goes with Brown, Tatum, Hayward, Morris, Horford.

Kings ball, down 2 with 2 seconds left, Stevens goes with Rozier, Tatum, Hayward, Morris, Horford.  Basically the same situation, so why the Rozier/Brown swap.  I only noticed because Rozier was guarding 7' Willie Cauley-Stein at the end.

Smart, your defensive guru, not in for either play, also odd.

Would love to pick Steven's brain there.

No denying that we’re on a roll and we’re figuring it out. No Kyrie tonight but Tatum, Horford + Hayward came through big time. Honestly those 3 + Kyrie are theoretically our Top-4 guys on the team too (in an ideal scenario).

Better team basketball and ball movement, and we’re actually flying out there on both ends for 48 minutes. Truly makes a difference.

I think over an 82 game season it is a method to evaluate your team against others.  If we get on a hot streak going into the playoffs it may be a better indicator of our ceiling than our final record.  There is a reason that the Bucks and GS are the top of the league in that stat.

Tatum is clutch!

No missed FTs and he hit that step back shot late in the game.

Future star Tatum will become.

That’s why you don’t deal him for a rental.

I agree with you.

Hopefully Ainge can convince the Pels to take Jaylen instead.

Or build with what we have, add to it using other avenues instead of blowing anything valuable on a RENTAL  :)

I doubt that.

When Ainge sets his sight on a target, there's no stopping Danny Ainge from pulling the trigger.

No, it is literally not.

Check standings on ESPN. Check out who has the best point differential. It's the best teams.

I think Brad still doesn't trust Jaylen's decision making.

Brown still makes a lot of mistakes, like trying to out-jump every defender he faces.

And Brown needs to know when to shoot and when not to shoot.

Also, his FTs needs to improve if he wants to play in crunch time.
