So when are all the talking heads going to talk about the 43-16 FT discrepancy last night? Embiid shot more FTs than the entire Celtics team. LOL All I'm hearing is how the Sixers have found a way to beat us.

Hmm, ok. Smart gets ejected like a dummy. Baynes is hurt AGAIN. Hayward sat AGAIN...and they beat us by 3. Rozier was cooking and should've been in the game with Kyrie towards the end.

This game proved nothing. If anything it tells me Philly has no bench (8 pts)

Embid travels and commits offensive fouls every time he makes a move.
The refs are mollycoddling him the way they used to with Lebron.

It was a disgrace.

Watching the game I felt that maybe 3 of the calls on Embiid were not justified and they missed a few that they could have called. He was absolutely dominant last night and is turning into the actualized version of himself.

I still think we probably still have their number but the best version of their team is what we saw last night. Everyone settling in around Embiid. Maybe Smart would have made the difference at the end but I don't know who we have that could've negated Jimmy Butler.

Its really Hayward that sets us apart. We don't need him to drop 30 every time but solid floor spacing and hard drives would've been appreciated to help stave off the drought in the late 3rd early 4th quarter.

They won the skirmish last night. I still like us in the war.

the disparity was ridiculous.  not saying they should have shot an equal amount by any means but C's couldn't draw a foul call on a drive to save their life.  not just last night, but ever since IT left town.  even Kyrie can't get respect from the refs on his drives.

Embiid is second in league at drawing fouls for a reason. He is very strong and athletic, and huge, and guys have a tough time containing him. Actually, they can't.  You take him out of the equation, the foul shot disparity was not so much. Plus I felt Kyrie got the benefit a several phantom calls last night.

We did not lose because of the refs last night.

The Sixers are good at drawing fouls.

The Celtics are REALLY REALLY BAD at drawing fouls.

You don't need a ref conspiracy to end up with a huge disparity.

Tommy? Is that you?

Sorry but Sixers were clearly the more aggressive team last night, so they got to the line. Embiid was a beast and no one could stop him without fouling.

Just wondering, how many really bad fouls do you recall from the game? How many missed calls against the Celtics? All in all, I thought it was a pretty well officiated game, and I usually hate the way games are called.

FT is one more thing that will change with AD.
AD vs Embiid will take this rivalry back to the 80s.

I would love it if AD comes to town. He’d match up great against Embiid and Giannis

Wow, just check the stats and Sixers have 4 players who take more FT than Kyrie (who take the most on our team)
Embiid, Simmons, Butler and yes, even Redick!!

Ditto
they attacked way more than we did, and i saw nothing wrong with the refs yesterday.

It's wild.

There's no good reason for it that I can think of, either.

Kyrie is a finesse player who relies on jumpers -- fine.

But Tatum, Brown, Morris, Rozier, Smart, Hayward ... there are plenty of guys on this team who can create some stuff off the dribble and get near the rim.  They should generate more free throws.
