The Memphis Grizzlies would like to thank Marc Gasol for the great years he had with our franchise. He is most likely the best Grizzly ever, but it was time to begin a new Era. We wish him all the best and we feel we send him to a team where he can enjoy great success.

We'd also like to welcome Lonzo Ball to our team, we believe he will form a great duo with Jaren Jackson jr for years to come.
Memphis Grizzlies
PG: Dragic, Ball, Carter
SG: Temple, KCP, Holiday, Washburn
SF: Richardson, Anderson, Parsons, Casspi
PF: Jackson jr, Beasley, Watanabe
C: Adebayo, Green, Noah

The Lakers would like to thank Lonzo, KCP and Beas for their brief, yet colourful tenures with the Lake Show. We believe all of them are very strong NBA players, and wish them the best for the future.

We'd like to welcome Marc, Dillon and Shelvin to Los Angeles, and we look forward to them experiencing the same kind of success Marc's older brother Pau did alongside Kobe!
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

So have the Lakers decided to cramp their cap space for the summer?
Or do they have some type of a wink-wink deal with Gasol to part with his 25,6 mil?
The money he will never see again.

Bad deal for the Lakers. According to Woj, they had a better offer on the table but they jumped the gun on Gasol. :P

Trade Announcement:
The Bucks and Mavs have agreed to a multi player trade with the Bucks receiving Wes Matthews and Ray Spalding with Brogdon, WIlson Snell being sent to Dallas.

Bucks have stated they thank their players for their hard work but are extremely excited to add a top tier 3d player to the mix. The lineup of Bledsoe, Matthews, Middleton, Giannis and Lopez are expected to have fantastic defense and shooting around Giannis.

Mavs issued a statement thanking Wes for his tenure but are incredibly enamored with Brogdon and Wilson and are certain they will make a great pairing with Luka.

Snell has been told to not unpack his bags.

Zach Lowe talking to Kevin Arnovitz on his podcast:

Quote
The Blazers think they're on the cusp. They think they're close enough to championship contention that they're finally thinking about letting CJ McCollum go in a deal but only if they get back enough to make them real contenders and that probably means addressing that PF spot.

You have got to be kidding Miami!  They absolutely had to do something to unload some guys but that is not at all what I expected.  Says a lot about Whiteside, Waiters, T.J and J.J. contracts  .  I don't get this at all.
