Would it be possible to develop 2 game threads:
1 for those who are excited to be watching the C's and who can accept a tough night without calling for a blow-up or declaring the season over.

The other thread can be for those who have already given up on the season and just like to state and restate their  negative predictions. You may be correct, but I am already tired of hearing it.

This idea was floated by PLamb/Nick...but was shot down. I'm with you though..2 GTs would be nice.

I'm still all about the "hide" option on people's posts in specific threads. Then I could basically post stuff and agree with myself.

i like this idea.  the ignore/hide button.  two seperate threads seems a little extreme

Grow up
Guys, relax please. Keep it civil, don't look for trouble or start flame wars. Cheers.

i don't care if it game 2 or mid april. boston is a middle of the road, old team now. sucks but it is what it is. they don't have any athletes other than rondo that can go with these guys....going to be a lot of night like tonight (maybe not the score) this season

Heat only shooting 70 percent. Tomorrow night will be interesting. Tired legs and probably no Pierce or Wilcox

It'll help that we won't be playing LeBron or Melo tomorrow night while we don't have a healthy 3.

If they don't cut the lead to 10 by the start of 4th, they should sit and get ready for the next game.

Tomorrow is the game you have to win.  Then Friday. This game was a loss the minute you saw it in on the schedule.  Heat are best in league at present.

  • You say when......
Ths is classic doc rivers..hiding under the bench saying.."fix it kg"   i got no ideas....ever wonder if young guys could cover wade or lebron...well, of course they could get there quicker, jump faster, learn and recover faster..this is what i hate about doc....he can draw up a play...but he will never play or try anything new.....sign new people....why....just pay 7 guys...that is all doc will play anyway....!
Have you noticed how 10 players have checked into the game tonight?

for the riual minute..? oh look your guy MD is back in.yay...turnover kid....the usual 6 is all we get...those guys were in for what 3 minutes....wow.
4 bench players played 8 minutes in the first half, that isn't real playing time?

If you're going to by hyperbolic don't get upset when it turns out you are flat out wrong.

you are just watchng your own game in your own world..really, as if you don't see that the celt regualrs aren't doing anything..as if it isn't a youth vs age game here....i know, you learned your game..by WATCHING.hahahahaha...keep watching there ace... just got home from my teams practice..youth..play em..if you sign em..8 minutes coming off the bench is not much for a rookie...they need to play after a mistake...but you know that.....why , you WATCHED hoop for years....

Defense is effort. There is little or no effort on that end tonight. None.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Ray has a lot of turnovers. He can and always will be able to shoot the lights out of the building but his ball handling abilities are just...

doc prefers to tire out old guys than play youth sitting on the bench
