They aren't playing hard.

Frequently, they just watch Irving play.

Hayward off the bench will help, but, he's one player.

Last year they were 16-3.

This year they just think they're 16-3.
They need to learn to play with expectations. I think the young guys came in complacent after what was done last years. That hunger and scrappy mentality is just not there so far this year. They might just need to get knocked down a peg to figure that out again. It’s not a talent thing. It’s a mentality thing.

this is certainly a bizzare season to start.

Warriors are having issues, Wizards and Celtics are dysfunctional while the Magic and the Fakers are getting the job done...to many teams with ongoing issues.

All I know is Adam Silver must be happy, because this was his vision, league parity in that a top seed team can go on a 5 game winning run then gobsmacked by a 4 game slide. While middle of the pack teams like US...would win one or two in a row and slide again the next three.

Don't forget Houston, out of the top 8 in the West right now with an 8-7 record. Utah 8-9 in 12th spot.

I don't think there's going to be too many teams this year that will roll everyone aside like Golden State did the past few years, not even Golden State. It's a competitive league.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I don't think Danny figured on Hayward breaking his ankle in 2 places on Day one of last season and end up ruining himself for the next 2 years.

Probably didn’t plan on GH having a surprise second surgery to remove the plate, setting him back even further.
