I expect the Ball and Jackson rumors to pop up in good time too. Ainge never shows his hand, no matter how obvious the choice may be, AND his unpredictability is believable based on his past picks.

We can really like a player without drafting him. There are several very likable prospects at the top of the draft. There's just one who seems much more promising.

Ugh. Unless you are getting Tatum at 4 and another big asset, it smacks of reaching for position need for a good but flawed team over taking the (maybe, temporarily) redundant possible superstar. Which has worked out well in the past...never?
