2024 NBA off-season trade ideas

Thought this may be helpful, instead of creating a new topic every time.

I'll start.

Bucks-Mavs
Bucks receive Hardaway Jr. and Josh Green - Adds additional depth and athleticism to a roster that doesn't have much of either.
Mavs receive Middleton - Middleton fits the pace the Mavs want to play and would be an excellent third scorer for them and a reliable outside shooter.

Atlanta trades Trae Young to Minnesota for Karl-Anthony Towns, 2024 1st round pick and a 2029 1st round unprotected.

The Wolves need another scoring option and ideally a starting PG since Conley is 37 years old. You pair Edwards with Trae Young and have an elite, dynamic backcourt. Young gives them another legit scorer and Edwards doesn't have to carry the load. Still have Gobert, NAW, Naz Reid, McDaniels and Anderson among others. ATL meanwhile accumulates more picks and balances out their roster a little more assuming they make another trade like Capela going elsewhere and maybe giving Murray a bigger role while they add the #1 pick to their roster too (lets be real ATL is mostly rebuilding anyways and is stuck in mediocrity right now).

I feel like the Hawks would have another move for Towns coming in that scenario, but maybe not since they owe the Spurs a bunch of picks.  Actually sending Towns to San Antonio and getting their own picks back probably makes sense.

Only thing I seeing is they look for a cheap vet to sign if that..u got Tillman, Q, Brissett, Hauser, Payton, Kornet, Springer..with Horford age & Porzingis injuries concerns, I like see them get big to block & rebound

Howard Beck is reporting that Miami is lookin to trade Jimmy. They are worried about giving him a big financial extension given his injury issues and number of missed games in recent years.

NYC gets a 2nd star to go alongside Brunson.
MIA gets to pair Randle with Bam and rebuild around them.

Am I missing something? Why are we all assuming that Trae Young is worth KAT and two 1sts? I can't imagine KAT doesn't have more value around the league than Trae. Trae is an excellent player, but he slots into a lot fewer teams than someone like KAT. With his usage, he has to be your team's best player and I'm not sure that is a recipe for a Title. Minny does have enough defense to cover for him, though.

I saw a tweet saying the Utah may deal Walker Kessler this summer. Strong defender, strong rebounder. Physical presence in the paint. He'd be a nice get. A good replacement for Horford.

Why is Atlanta getting two firsts in this deal?

I see it as Young being 3 years younger than KAT and being a better player than him, and also KAT still has the massive 4-year contract extension coming up. I sort of see it as ATL doing MIN a slight favor as well by taking it on in order to get the two first rounders.

But you may be right, it might only take one first rounder.
