Some really dumb fouls on 3 point attempts.  With out those there wouldn't have been any Pritchard heroics.  Geez.

Miami is the Smarter team right now, The Celtics have to play smarter.

The Celtics will play smarter without Smart.

I really liked how Pritchard spun that shot around the rim to get the time down to 2/10s of a second! ::)

At the end of that PP winning basket sequence.

Both Theis and Smart were not celebrating. Boy did they give an earful to the refs....

Just got done watching the game on DVR. That 4pt play was unreal. Love PP's energy. Kid is a winner. Glad to see the Heats luck finally run out.

I really thought he helped right the ship in the 3rd and get the offense started again.

Edwards was decent too! Missed his 3s but otherwise played with composure abd converted a couple critical transition baskets.

Retroactive TPs for all!

That would’ve left too much time on the clock.

Smart did everything in his power to try and make the Celtics lose down the stretch. If they are up and there is 30 secs on the clock, why would you attempt to rush and score? Why wouldn’t he just burn down the clock?

He then spent more than 5 secs to inbound the ball and ended up passing it to Theis for another quick bucket??? That was missed anyway.

I’m really tired of the bad basketball plays man.

Thank god for Pritchard. Because those final 90 seconds gave me PTSD. Nearly blowing another big lead to Miami. 10-point lead late, and they literally give up a 10-0 run. Smh. But again, thank god for PP.

Yeah. Yes, Smart did get hit in the head, so he was fouled, but he indulged in screaming at the ref AFTER Pritchard got the basket. The refs showed significant discretion. He easily could have gotten a technical foul.

He also made several stupid plays. The foul at the end of the half was incomprehensible. Just terrible. I don't think he's ever going to rise above being a trick or treat guy. His inability to understand his role at this late stage is troubling.

Just to bring some balance to the discussion.

Smart had two or three assists and two rebounds in the last 5:30 of the game.

Your talking like he wasn't playing.

He was terrible throughout the game. He only attempted 3 threes and got one so at least he didn't play "launchpad" last night.

The one thing he was especially bad at was Jimmy Butler who owned Smart throughout the game. Of Smart's 5 personal fouls 4 of them were Butler driving "playing him."

I however, disagree with trading him this week....give him to the end of the month at least.

Tatum had a great game overall...thank god he's a Celtic.

But I got mad at him again at the end of the game for carelessness....and for yelling at the ref on the way back on defense, which absolutely made him late to cover Robinson, whom he then fouled for the 4 point play.

I understand when the talent is so high there is an urge to play cool an loosey goosey...but it almost never works against NBA level defense in crunch time....especially a team like the Heat.

I don't know if the same thing p---ed of Smart, but Smart was angry when he made that drive that Adebayo blocked out of bounds..(probably a foul).  But Smart has to be careful about getting into rescue mode...as in, we are stinking up the joint with poor decisions so I will now rescue us.
