I think this is a rumour bandied about by media personnel and one that has no basis in reality.

I'm sick of hearing about this trade (three months now). There's nothing to it. There's never any reports of either team being willing to consider this deal, no reports of preliminary or extensive talks either, just various writers who think the teams should call each other and do the deal and try to include this rumour anywhere they can.

Clippers aren't giving up Camby without getting talent in return. They think they have something special in Camby. Expiring contracts won't get it done.

I'm really not looking forward to any Cleveland upgrades.  That trade would give them another dimension.  Kinda like having Ben Wallace in his prime.

I heard the only players on LAC's untouchables list are Camby and Gordon

  No Thornton? That seems odd...
