This is just a farce. Boston can't hit a layup—literally—and Cleveland's hitting deep threes and contested threes and circus shots. Freakin ridiculous.
embarassment
I need to step away from this game and this team for at least a day, because I'm questioning (and laughing derisively at) the notion that this team has Celtic Pride. I know that Boston's not the real No. 1 seed—Cleveland is—but getting blown out three times at home? Yeah, IT's missing, but their D is supposed to be better without him; heck, some people even think the O is better without him (not me). How can this happen? The pride and toughness just aren't there (not to mention the skill). This could be emotion talking, but I don't see how Danny can keep KO, Crowder, and Smart, or maybe even Bradley; hustle and grit take you only so far, and, as it turns out, doesn't even get you to within shouting distance of being in the same ZIP code as Cleveland. The Cavs didn't worry about the role players—the got Kyrie, they got Love, they brought LeBron back; everyone else was trivial and easy to acquire. Boston needs to do likewise and not worry about keeping guys like KO and Smart because of sentimentality.
