A friend said he's lighting it up at a YMCA men's league. He also said he's found God again.

I don't think there's anything Jabari can do to get back into the NBA ever again.

I haven't heard any other news on the subject since September, I think. From what I understand the NBA is investigating and the Celtics will follow the league's lead on punishment but there's also the trial still waiting to happen?

What a bad situation. I just don't know how you weight the seriousness of the charges against having some kind of compassion for someone who sounds like he might really be mentally ill but if he's dangerous that has to be addressed too but is the punishment of losing the only way he can make a livelihood the right thing? I don't know.

Maybe he should learn to pitch. The Astros might sign him.

it's not even close to the only way he can make a livelihood. I can name at least a hundred ways b4 I even get into the thousands he's made in one season already.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

The NBA is not Bird's only way of making a livelihood.  People aren't entitled to be millionaires.

You're right. That's an exaggeration.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
