He is pretty shot, only 9 mpg this year.  So I would pass.

His only real value now is his ability to defend certain types of big men and there aren't really that many we're going to come up against very often.

He did do fairly well defending Joel Embiid in short spurts this season. I don't think it's worth signing him just for that though.

I wouldn't mind having him on the end of the bench as insurance for Baynes/Theis. Let's say the playoffs we have one of those guys down would we prefer Yabu or Bogut? I mean I certainly wouldn't use the DPE on him but can we replace Bird or Allen on the bench?

Let's go get him. We wouldn't even have to use the DPE on him if we waive someone.

If we waived a 2-way contract, I think that would create room.
That's not how 2-way contracts work.

We'd have to waive a guy on a real contract

We wouldn’t have to waive anybody yet, as we’re only using 14 roster spots.

I’d be fine signing him to a 10 day contract and getting him in for some practices.

I feel our needs are a high scoring bench guy (Gerald green type) and a big.  Bogut is a very good high post passer, rebounder and defender.  At a price I'd want him. Not as starter or backup.  More a need a vet fill in
Horford, Baynes, Theis and 2 of those guys play more pf

Is Bogus important to defend any prominent big from Toronto, Washington, Cleveland or GSW? No.

Would he hurt them in offense? No.

Pass.

No reason the Celtics can't take a look at him. They should absolutely kick the tires on this older Australian Ford 550 that could break down at any time, but also could come in handy at the right moment.

Ugh you are going to make me try to get this; vareculiatos
If bogut plays 10 minutes in certain games in playoffs at a price he's worth it

Picking Bogut up for nothing is a no brainer unless Danny wants to keep that space open for someone he's planing on but even in that case cutting Bogut is really easy and really low cost at the minimum.
