Anton Chigurh is totally bad-a-s-s.

Back on topic, I was able to DL the original version (2007) of Paranormal Activity, and plan on seeing it with my buddies (my wife hates horror films) on Halloween night.

IMO if you've seen the trailer for it, you should know whether or not your gonna like it.  It's an incredibly low budget movie about a couple that attempts to film the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. that is happening in their house.  If that sounds up your alley, you're prolly gonna like it.

Yo this may sound weak but one move that totally freaked me out was, Pulse.

The idea of ghosts and stuff coming out of computers made me want to do my papers on a typewriter the rest of the semester.

"The Peanut Butter Solution" was the scariest movie I've ever seen.

I was 5 when it came out with a PG rating so my mother rented it and left the room, and it scarred me for life lol.  I went to look it up a year or two ago and there were multiple people who recounted the same story.  I went back and rewatched it finally, which helped a bit lol, but I still get creeped out thinking back to a few of those scenes

I really dug Pulse as well.  I enjoyed a lot of those remakes of Japanese horror flicks (Ring, Grudge, etc).

I saw it tonight; I thought it was okay.  Nothing fabulous, at all.  I'd put it in about the same category as the Strangers.  I'd rate it a solid B, B+.

Really was horrible Good God. I am not a big fan of scary movies and stuff. My Girlfriend really wanted to see it so we did. Was making fun of it about an 45 minutes into it. Most of the movie is just them talking. God what a waste of time.

Haven't seen P.A., but I watched an extremely scary movie last night for Halloween called [REC].  It's a Spanish movie with subtitles that was remade in America under the name of Quarantine.  I haven't seen Quarantine but have been told [REC] is better.  I don't want to spoil the basic plot, but it was very well-made and very scary.

Saw it last night with a bunch of people and most of the theatre was laughing in unison at much of it.  I'm sure some people laughed that nervous laugh, while many (including myself) were doing so out of ridiculousness.  I did think there were some isolated good parts, but overall I found the most unbelievable thing not to be the paranormal activity, but instead to be the humans response to all of these events.  So unbelievable that it was laughable more than it was scary.  I don't recommend it...

Scary movies don't really get too me. I was watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the 03 remake) and was laughing 90% of the time lol.

Pretty boring and not scary at all.  I almost fell asleep in the theater.

The thing about The Texas Chain Saw Massacre that freaks me out is how they got Leatherface. Anyone heard of Ed Gein? He also influenced the killer in Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock, and a few other messed up horror movie killers. One messed up guy...
