Who's your favorite superhero?

 AS a kid I grew up with George Reeves so I love Supes.  But one I like a lot was Dr. Strange, Master of the mystic arts.

A lot of these are more animae/manga than Superhero genre there is a difference.  Superheroes really are in Comics and animae/manga are cartoons. (cringing as I realize peeps will say Archie is in comics)

Have you ever noticed that Batman's only major superpower is basically that he went to college?

On the other hand he might just be a self entitled bully too cowardly to actually try to be a cop.

I have this strange feeling like there's a superhero for sorta down and out black kids too.  Uhhhh. Spawn?  Green Lantern?  He actually was a cop.

I was always more Marvel comics, DC has done a great job with batman with Christian Bale but generally growing up I thought DC had batman, green lantern/green arrow series, aquaman then pretty lame.  Stan Lee!

Other key notes:
-I've never gotten into current Superman stuff. But he could be the center of a GREAT comic. I would love Moore or Gaiman to tackle him...could really explore the psyche of an invincible person among mortals, self-created responsibility, concepts of morality, ethics, limitations when limitations may not apply, etc. The pieces are there, but it would take a talented author focusing on the existential aspects of the character and not the action.

-I Really liked the Iron Man movies, more than I thought I would.

-Also a fan of Miller's Batman books, Bale's movie batman, and Miller's Sin City movies and books.
