That's what matters Rondo. I mean its not like anyone is going to be stuck with a Mo Williams in this draft. ;D

with the 3rd pick, Dallas Selects: Shaquille O'Neal

Wow. Shocker.

Don't get me wrong his best year is as dominant as a big man will ever get in this league but I had him going mid first

I see where your coming from, but in his prime he was the most dominant player I have ever seen.
For younger guys...I can see that. And like I said you only get to choose one year and his best year was as good as any big man's ever.
Top 4 big man for sure, best ever? I don't think so.

I do, I would argue shaq was as dominant in his prime year as any other big man.  I mean you have to compare era's, in shaq's prime he was pulling down 14 boards a game, that is pretty stellar in this day and age, but not so great way back when.

I was picking between him and shaq great pick.  Now this may be sacrilage, but is it bad that shy'd away from him because he is 6'9?  I ws thinking between him and shaq, and I was like Russell is the all time winner in all of sports, team player, and great defender, but could he defend shaq being only 6'9?  We will never know i guess.

I support the Shaq selection. I had him in my top 3, and would've strongly considered him at 1. He's a one of a kind monster of a man that's going to create some serious match up issues.

I love Shaq but there's still a guy out there that was even more of a monster in his day.

The Shaq and Kobe picks kinda screwed me up. Now I have to think as I had a clear top six and was thinking I'd take the last man standing so to speak.

Congrats, StartOrien, (TP) ... I was sure he'd go second ... amazing! This is what makes this so much fun, everyone looks at it in their own way ... and no pick is "wrong" IMHO, not in this round anyway. ;)

This type of posting is not allowed. No hinting at players who could be there to be picked.

I'm a bit surprised by the Kobe pick.  Great player, but there are a minimum of four players I have rated higher, and probably more.  I wouldn't have taken Kobe in the first.

It's a defensible pick, but wouldn't have been my preference.
