Wow, gotta play some defense, the Nets won't go away if you let them get easy shots.

I think I would hate playing with Eddie. Nobody likes a chucker!!

Way to be active, bench guys.

I think you could be right about Perk being the locker room problem. It makes sense. He came out of this year with some new post moves, started scoring more, etc. He ends up not really getting a lot of attention, Rondo signs a big new contract, and he's still just sort of there.

I'm loving Rasheed's hustle tonight.

I'm watching this one on Yes network. Wow, does their HD feed look gorgeous.

Also, Doc's son is on ESPN2. The one that is in hs. The kid is nasty.

A nice start offensively except for Perk.  He just holds the ball too long and either turns it over or forces a bad shot.

The first quarter defense is once again horrible.  The Nets are getting wide open looks and driving to the hoop with little resistance.  The C's have come out with no defensive energy early in tonight's game which is disappointing...

pffff... are we really anywhere near being tied with the NETS? We look horrid. Perk is a ballhog. I am tired and this has got to be the blandest announced game ever. They're boring me to bits and the game aint helping.

There. Now for the positives:

erm... Tony didn't turn it over back there when he was fumbling with the ball.

Rondo lets me know that this team will be fun to watch even when we're back to winning 30 a year.

OK, well, not the score I'd have expected. But we'll see. It's troubling that "only" 7 of their points came from Lopez.

Can't figure out the poor start defensively tonight.  The C's let the Heat come out and shoot 70% in the first quarter Wednesday and are letting the Nets shoot almost 60%!  Yes these are the Nets but the C's need to come out with much more defensive intensity.

Allowing the Nets to shoot 60% and score 25 points is pretty bad...

Hopefully we are shrewd enough so that we won't have to deal with more than one season of that. I think one season of that is almost inevitable though.

Ok, 4 point lead, now let's get serious and start playing some D to blow them out.

For all the bone headed things that Sheed does, his basketball IQ is off the charts.

Well, if so, we knew what we were signing up for. Can't complain after '07-'08.

Rondo has been playing for 14 straight minutes and he goes jumping after that ball, tumbling out of bounds.

He's got energy!

Aw, now he's out. =(
