It's funny and amazing how Eddie can both shoot the team to the victory, to regain a lead or out of the game, and yet also makes a boring game suddenly really exciting. Eddie is really the definition of a streaky player but man, when he's hot... he's hot! A pleasure to watch.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Excellent second half, especially defensively.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I had to go out halfway through the 1st and got back halfway through the 4th, what happened in between? I see Ray with some very impressive numbers, and House seems to have found his stroke.

  • Rondo = Good
Excellent second half, especially defensively.

Yeah, the team obviously just didn't care until they realized they might actually have to try to beat the Nets.

Ray Allen had a good night - for once - but KG looked distressingly hobbled once again.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Glad to see Baby and House get themselves going.  I also liked Rasheed passing up long jump shots in order to get it to Ray & Eddie.  The clamps really came out in the 2nd half--32 points total, 14 in the 4th.

We'd all prefer a blowout but they did what they needed to do.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Great job by the refs tonight also...Amazing, how we get fair and unbiased reffing when the games DON'T include one of these 3: Bill Kennedy, Bennet Salvatore, Joey Crawford  AKA The Unholy Trio.

It was also nice to see Doc stick to his Plan of playing Ray reduced minutes---Paid off with Ray hitting a couple of huge shots near the end---Shots he's been missing playing 40 + minutes a game.

yes, definitely. This is the part of the game I was/am most excited about.

Yes, Walker looked shaky out there, but it didn't cost us the game and he was light years better defensively than Scal.

Still don't understand why Scal was in the game.  Against a bigger small forward I can see Scal being in there to defend, but not against a guy like Terrance Williams who is a very athletic swing man.  That was just poor planning on Doc's part.
do it
