Is the cap 250 for every player drafted on your team including farm and reserve or only active players. I am just looking a team like Naturals where the math doesn't seem like it will work.  Thanks!!

I have $226 committed to 9 players.  I need 6 more players.

I have $20 in salary on the board, to 3 players.  That's $246.  There's a cap hold of $1 on each of the other empty slots, meaning $3, for a total of $249.

If I'm misunderstanding something, please let me know.

Thank you! I just saw your team and wanted to be sure the 250 was a hard cap or for some reason reserve or farm players don't count against it. That would make a huge difference in how I draft.

No you're right.  THe post I have "nvm" was the same concern.  But at the roster page I didn't see the two players that were listed in reserve which changed your budget.  But yea you have $1 to spare currently.

This year all players' salaries will count towards the $250 cap (including farmed players).  Next year, when we have the Rookie Draft, newly drafted players will not count towards the cap, unless an owner decides to activate a drafted rookie immediately.

Yeah, Edgar and I took the "spend like drunken sailors" approach.  While I like a lot of the individual players on my team, it's going to be very hard to compete with so much money tied up.

I'm already scouting rookies for next year's draft.
