I always lose the first week

I picked the Lions this year. Its against the Raiders. I think they can do it.

See, if you knew it was against the Falcons, you would never have made that pick.

Torn between a few choices this week:

Try to sneak by with a bad team over a worse team an take KC over Oaklland

Try to show my pride in my home team's resolve and take the Pats over the Jets

Try to be smart and take the champs over the scrubs with the Giants over the Cards

You know, all these years later and St Louis is still the Cardinals to me.  KInd of like the Ravens are the Browns and the Browns aren't really the Browns, but the Ravens are just a make up for the Colts and the Browns are just a make up for the Ravens who used to be the Browns...Yes, I meant the LA RAMS!

With my pick I am trying to decide between:  dwelling over the fact I was bumped out after 1 freakin week or just going out and getting stinkin drunk at some bar and loudly pontificating as if I know more than anyone else about the games on the TVs, especially the head coach.

Any suggestions?
