Its time fake GM's and fake fans alike!

We'll first rank the divisions, then do another poll to find the wildcards as well as the sorting of the division champions

Rank the teams in the Western Conference of the Phony (fake is such a harsh word) Celticsblog Draft!

First, make sure you know what you're voting for! Here are the press conference threads.

"1" is best and "5" is worst, I assume?

I got in OK, Kwit -----

IP, thanks for doing this, TP.

We have the 3 division winners already, right? Will the polls that we did per each division be factored in too?  How will this determine who is the conference Playoff contenders?

Couldn't we just do a poll the top of a CB post saying GIVEN THESE 3 DIVISION WINNERS pick 5 playoff teams?

Nice one IP, TP for you.

I've got one concern, this is clearly for "win now" teams, but what about teams that have been built for the "future"?

I do think we would be better served doing a poll w/in a post Saying:

In addition to the 3 Division Winners (i.e. highest vote getters; Portland, Golden St. and Houston), choose 5 teams to make the playoffs:

then list the remaining 12 teams..... highest 5 vote getters make the playoffs.  Otherwise the votes from the past 2 weeks are ignored (at least 1 division winner i voted for came in 2nd...)

I just tried it and you can set a poll to allow as many choices as you like.  I think only you can modify this post IP, and i didn't want to start a diff. post.

Thats true Gainsville, but I like this way because it allows people to kind of sort things out on their own.

The way the results will show, it will look something like this:

Team X average position: 1.29
Team y average position 2.28
Team Z average position: 2.49

It looks way cooler.

Yeah, it will definitely allow for some separation, to show the "tiers" of the playoff teams.

Im not sure, we have 15 so far, I'd like to get atleast 30

VOTE! VOTE!

BTW...I am very seriously going to make this league into 2k9. I would even bring it online if they let me. Im gonna do this so anyone interested can be spanked by the overwhelming versatility and balance of the Phoenix Suns. Depth wins games in may and june.
