My first grade son had a poetry reading in his class tonight, we live in LA.  I hadn't spoken to him about his poem.  It went like this:

Rajon Rondo
Sweaty Awesome
Running Shooting Dribbling
He is cool
Basketball player

I love that kid!

I think we all need to use the phrase "sweaty awesome" in our everyday lives until it makes it's way onto a network sitcom.

The probably is, it takes a special sort to pull off being "sweaty awesome".  Like, if you were to say, "Redz is sweaty awesome.", I'd be reasonably sure you'd need to adjust your goggles or something.  I'm more likely to draw a "Sweaty smelly", description.

But I guess in the context of it said in just a random positive way like "COOL" or "RADICAL" or whatever the hip way of saying something's great is that I'm way out of touch with..."Oh man, you're new sneakers are sweaty awesome." Hmmm?
Yup

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
