Remember this?  I do.

Do you think he has over come these concerns?

I remember it, but he has put together 3 solid seasons, only missing 5 games and playing 36mins a game. Although if he were a franchise player for my team I would be cautious with too many minutes as he has the injury history. I don't think hes Anthony Davis injury prone.

One thing's for sure, if Bradley Beal becomes available, Danny Ainge will be calling.

Beal is 6 5 with a 6 8 wing span. Pretty typical for a SG.

Danny is obsessed with 6 2 and 6 3 SGs. That’s hard for me to get on board with.

i know. that is why he targeted al, KG, hayward, posey, turner, and tried for davis. if only he could bring in someone with size instead of these short shooting guys!!!!

guys, would you please at least review the history of ainge's actions before posting a hot take, please?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Plus, as pearljammer posted, Beal has almost ideal size for a SG.

Reminds me of people who argued that Langford was "another small guard". Even though he's 6'6", 215lbs and possesses a 6'11" wingspan

I'd really like to hear Ainge's thoughts about rating players tbh. Is it databall, or is it the romanticism of former players?

I still don't understand the Langford pick.

Celts have Jaylen, Hayward, and Smart getting minutes at SG.

Why use a lottery pick on another SG when a big man like Goga was available?

^this tbh. I'm guessing that Ainge wants a Brown/Smart/Hayward replacement in case they make a major trade for a star big, but is that really the way to go? I don't see any star big men that are good enough being available in the next year or two.
