I haven't had a chance to watch the game yet. I'll do that this afternoon and post my own thoughts and selections then. By all of your accounts Marbury/Moore did well, and of course the C's won.

If you need an explanation on the poll, make up your own rules and enjoy.   ;)

Tkanks again Fafnir.  I was totally out of steam again last night...I think I'm just about of steam - PERIOD!

Nice win on a strange night for the C's.

Good debut for MArbs.  Much better in the 2nd half.

Big Baby  scored some big hoops, and a bunch of points, but he was also bugging me quite a bit too with some very dumb plays.

My votes:

RAY 3
Rondo 2
Powe 1
Yup

Of the six voters so far, which one decided not to give Ray even one vote?

I say we subject everyone to torture until someone fesses up.

TELL ME THE TRUTH OR I'M GOING TO LITTER THIS SITE WITH IMAGES OF MARK BLOUNT & RICKY DAVIS CELEBRATING A T-WOLVES WIN OVER THE C'S

Think that would work?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Ray was lighing everybody up.

Ray 3 Rondo1 Powe1 Davis1

Davis, and Powe went to work for us.

I thought Rondo played pretty poorly, but the numbers tell a different story.

3 for Ray (he was the best player on the floor)
1 for Rondo (17 assists!)
1 for Davis (coming into his own; hit shots in the final 2 mins)
1 for Marbury (welcome to Boston!)
Celtics fan for life.

Ray - 2 for his usual efficient silent assassin routine and dropping his 3rd 30+ game against the Pacers this season
Rondo - 1 for that incredible asst/to ratio
Pierce - 1 for being a warrior
Big Baby - 1 for some great hustle plays and key baskets down the stretch
Leon - 1 for having 2 assists who says Black Hole Powe can't pass the ball  ;D

If Marbury had broken double digits or dished out a third assist he'd have a shot at MVP. I guess he'll have to settle with finishing ahead of Powe (!?!), Pierce and Perkins...

Ray 3
Rondo 2
Davis 1

Okay I watched the game and I think most everything I have to comment has been said. Rondo took 3 early jumpers and missed them all. After that he was looking to pass instead of score. Pacers just made sure to pack the paint on all of his drives. This created a lot of assists for him but his play wasn't as good as you'd think from the end stats.

3 - Ray, he carried us the whole game
1 - Rondo, did a good job moving the ball but I'd have preferred he kept shooting
1 - Perk, defense and rebounding were great until the last minutes
1 - Baby, stepped up nicely with some efficient scoring
