Portland's inability to defend is in danger of dooming them tonight.  They can't stop the Nets, and Portland is having trouble getting anything started with the way Brooklyn is overplaying Lillard.

Suddenly, the Blazers look like the Celtics- trigger-happy 3's but missing them.

Lavert is good, but this is horrible defense. He is dribbling forward,  Trent is backing up just letting him basically get to within five feet of the rim without an resistance. Trent has five fouls, so obviously he doesnt wnat to foul out. But at some point you have to provide some resistance.

<1 minute left in a do or die game for the Blazers and they're struggling to get past the Nets (though just went up 4 as I type this), while the Nets are playing for nothing.  Do people really think they can give the Lakers trouble in the playoffs?


I admit, I thought the Blazers would give the Lakers the most trouble, but now I'm not so sure.  Suns winning by 26, that was the kind of behavior I was expecting from the Blazers tonight as they play for their bubble lives.

Total bummer the Nets couldn't pull it out.  Also a total bummer the Suns are done after the run they went on.

Man, never thought I’d say this, but I really feel for the Suns. They’ve been really admirable in the bubble, and are definitely IMO more deserving of the play-in spot than Memphis

I'd love Portland to take two games off L.A. but their defense is so bad and they apparently need Lillard to be prime M.J. to even scrape by in the 4th.

I'm pulling for Memphis to pull a miracle and take down the Blazers.  Not a fan of this Blazers team.  Gary Trent Jr is awesome, the rest are meh.
