So I've just spent entirely too much time assembling my NBA 2k9 franchise, and I've finally feel that I've built the perfect team for my style of play (fun-n-gun)

1. Rondo
2. Captain Jack
3. Durant
4. J-Smooth
5. Camby

with Perk, Nick Young, and Billy Skywalker off the bench. I also got another first round pick I'd use if it made sense but being rather top heavy on salaries it's hard to find a good cause.

So I'm sure everyone who's played the game has gone through this, so.... what is your BEST 2k9 team ever assembled?
(spare me the Rondo, Ray, Pierce, KG, Perk comment)

What is with Durant's shot? It's too slow.

Brandon Roy's shot is awful too.

Ammo's animation is my favorite, despite he's terrible as a player.

There are some guys who aren't really good 3PT shooters, but you can knock them down because they just have a nice rhythm.

Ugh, I'm fiending for 2K9 tonight.  My 360 got the red ring of death over a week ago and now I have to wait for it to be fixed.  arrrrrrrrrrgh!

Funny, that's what got me to start this thread. I was without it for a while then put in a good two hour session. Of course, now my hard drive went down so my beloved franchise was all for nothing.

i've never understood how people enjoy playing with teams where everybody is 90+. I'd so much rather have 1 or 2 decent to all-star level player and a bunch of scrubs and try to carry them to the championship.

However my best team ever was in 2k8, I really don't remember who the other 4 guys were cause they were all computer-gen since it was like 2020 but I had this guy named Dexter Mathews who I drafted that was like a 94 or 95 by the beginning of his third season who was just INCREDIBLE. I never normally like the computer generated rookies but this guy was just awesome, he had Pierce's J with AI's handles and could dunk like MJ (he always did the rock the cradle dunk) and was a lock for All-NBA first team for a good decade. The thing is he never won a single MVP despite his crazy averages because the Warriors drafted this guy (who I think his last name was Livingston) who would honestly average 38 points and 17 boards with a high number of assists EVERY year. His ratings weren't even that good he couldn't shoot midrange or three at all and he was a small forward. I could never understand how he got such ridiculous rebounding numbers but he really did average 17 boards almost every season and he was like 6'7. I've never seen two players drafted who've been even close to those guys yet.

I got mines back last friday.

It's pretty sad that Microsoft still hasn't found a real fix.
