Your retort to everyone vouching for him and news articles stating his acumen as a reporter is to take a dig at his age?  :(

Sounds like a break up date.

Possibly, but why even do that if you know you there is no way you are coming back?  Unless you want to negotiate a sign and trade to help your new team.

Because he's a decent person and wants to give Danny a heads up so that he can draft accordingly with the new information? Boston traded for him. They gave up assets... I feel like this is the least he could do.

I thought Kyrie didn't owe anyone anything...

Let's get back on subject.
No more Shams stuff. If you want to discuss basketball news sources, start another thread on the subject.

Is Ainge doing this to get a chance to see the s&t market for kyrie? Or is it just to see what he should do with the draft picks

What can Ainge  s&t Kyrie for? Russell ?

I can see the nets being interested in trading for kyrie so he doesn't get a chance to talk with the knicks/La/etc

Dinwiddie IMO, if its Brooklyn.

If its another team? Well it depends on the team.

Kyrie is a free agent. He can talk to whoever he wants to. He has to agree to a sign and trade and may still want to explore his options first before committing anywhere.

Shams, in the same article says that Phoenix has made TJ Warren, JoshJackson, and the number 6 pick all available.  Not sure if we match up with them but I’d take Warren and Jackson.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Sometimes you don’t want to burn bridges, even if you’re leaving.  It can be a bad fit but no one harbors any ill will.

But also, if he wants to go to the Lakers, they don’t have the cap room to sign him outright and could need to make some sort of trade, so gauging the Celtics’ interest in participating in that is helpful.

Sounds like a break up date.

Kyrie:  Look Danny...it’s not you...it’s me.

Danny:  I know.

It would be hilarious if he ended up coming back after everything that has happened. The amount of people on this site that would have to eat crow...

I'd gather that his detractors would run for the nearest cliff.

For real, about all they have left is Kuzma.

I imagine there would have to be a third team involved, as I don’t see how that scenario works out value-wise, unless we’re solely interested in a TPE to get a different free agent or trade (such as a Conley or Holiday).
