You have to run him off the 3 point line. Make him take the 2

we were scared he would drive and score easily

Awful late game execution on both ends made that game winner possible.

not sure why he gave him so much cushion. Doesn't make sense.

Brad had GREAT plays down the stretch. And Bradley did the right thing, you don't press up on John Wall.

The hell you don't. In that situation press up all the way on him.

I just rewatched the Oubre foul. Whistle blew a full second before the clock stopped.

Mike

Yeah, as I've been saying, the refs impacted this outcome. From mid-third quarter on they got almost all the calls, especially the no-calls inside. In a close game against a good team a couple points can make all the difference.

We did well to come as close as we did.

No guarantees in game 7 especially when you're a team that relies on the 3 like the C's do. But this is why you try to get home court advantage throughout.  If they lose this series they blew it up 5 with the ball and a minute + to go.

Anybody notice Jaylen was in on the most important defensive possession of the year?

No one cares. We lost the game.

you don't give him an easy look either. Make him take a tough 2. Worst that can happen is they tie. Terrible d on AB's part.
Still don't believe in Joe.

Washington are playing with house money in the next game do people not understand that? You need to close it out in that situation. Whatever happens in Game 7 so be it now. It was over and you handed it back to them.

Agree.  Three beats you, so you don't allow the three.  If he gets his layup, so be it... contest as well as you can without fouling, beat them in OT if it comes to that.  But don't lose the game there.

there was like 5 secs on the clock. He ahould defend closer, not press up nor sag. Worse case he getps a laypup and game is on OT.

He's a 32% 3PT shooter and he was wayyyy behind the line. Press up and he'll drive on you and possibly kickout to Beal, a 40% 3PT shooter.

I do not understand how Cs lost this game? You want the ball in your hand to end the game. Give them the two points and get the ball with time. Rather you give Wall a great look?

We did well to come as close as we did.

So predictable.    NBA agendas really ruin the game.
No reason for these career officials.  They need term limits!
