why does shot always end with Morris?

Because sometimes, Hayward is too much of a sissy to take the shot.

Morris could pass the ball back... oh, yeah, that's not going to happen...

Orlando is playing for playoffs

Boston is playing to the playoffs.

That is the difference

Eh, I was disappointed by the effort earlier in the quarter, but can certainly live with this result. Even though it was a meaningless game for us, I am happy to see the team lock in and go off when needed.

Now let's make sure we get Smart and Tatum healthy for the playoffs. Even if Smart is out a couple of games, we still have pretty good depth. Brown isn't worse than Smart, just different.

Stevens legit keeps starters in to make a come back and then they have Theis shoot 3 straight times to go down by 6. This guy man.

It really is something else. It's mind-numbing the decisions that have been made in this one.
He’s going to cost the Cs in the playoffs. He is such a liability.

The sad thing is the Celtics are really trying to win this game and can’t. This team is getting bounced in the second round and only because they get play a sinking team in the first round will they even make the second. Can’t wait for this season to end and have a completely new roster next season.

I mean, that's the thing - they kind of are trying to win, but kind of not. They're playing Kyrie, Hayward, Morris, and Brown big minutes down the stretch, but Tatum and Smart have already been ruled out with injuries and Brad has purposefully not played Al or Baynes down the stretch. There's not really a direction here; Brad is just kind of winging it, like always.

So we’re back to wrist slitting again?

All that for an eight point loss.

And some more of that good ole equal opportunity Brad Stevens offense - Theis takes three clutch-time threes down the stretch, missing them all.

Good job, good effort. Another stellar coaching demonstration, Brad!

Giving him an opportunity to see if he can fill that role in the playoffs maybe. If this was an audition for them to run pick and pop for him he flunked it

It was a meaningless game for us but a nice little run at the end. If it was Horford taking those shots at the end instead of Theis we win.

I can't wait for the playoffs!

Anyone have an injury report on Tatum and Smart.

Smart has a strained oblique, which usually takes around two weeks to fully recover from.  ::) Good thing he was playing in this meaningless game!

He’s a massive liability. Zero confidence this guy knows what he is doing with this team. All that for an 8 pt loss in a meangless game. Just mind numbing.

Orlando is not the only team to sweep us, sadly.
