TP for another very good game thread, FL. We should win this easily....the starters need to play around 20 mins....not more.

The Celtics rarely "win easily"...

The Celts teams of the mid-late 80s had similar (yet opposite) issues. They'd frequently just hang around, not leading but staying within 10 points or so of their opponents, and turn it on with about 8-10 minutes left in the game. As long as they kept their deficit to around twice the number of minutes left (like within 8 at the 4 minute mark) things were pretty safe.

honestly a line up of rondo, nate, Q, baby and JO should be able to win this game. throw in starters for about 35 minutes or less...i don't see how the cavs can stay in the game....

their bench consists of ryan hollins, jamison, gibson, jawaad williams and manny harris...

I thought Jamison was starting for them. They should start him at the 3 instead of Moon.

I think Cleveland will be much better than people think because they are a very good defensive team. The problem is how are they going to score. I expect Hickson to have big numbers.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Cleveland will be a below average defensive team this season.

They have only one above average defensive player in their rotation in Anderson Varejao. Plus two large liabilities in Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison.

Uh-oh, I think I'm going to catch some flack tonight from the girlfriend:  "But the world series is on!"

Wonder if she will buy "But the Celtics are working on a perfect season -- this is special!"   ::)

Hope to see JO get some work today, shake off some rust, and find his offense. Hopefully, this is a blow out and we're able to give Nate, Daniels, Wafer, and Semih (if should permits) a lot of run.

mo williams ruled for tonight. cavs very thin at guard.

Wow, this should make things a lot easier for us.  But you never know, sometimes top players being out actually helps a team pull it together.

BTW, it's a crime that you only have 29 TPs, I'm boosting you every time I see you.  Lookingglass, Evantime, and Rebus too.

Remember when Celtics-Cavs was a guaranteed national telecast?

Now, I'm stuck watching the Cavs announcers on league pass.  Ughh...  :P

Let's just avoid the "let-down" game.  That's the only thing that has me concerned going into this game.  Celts should take this rather comfortably.

That arena used to be at full capacity for almost all games. Sad to see the present state...

If there is one opposing fanbase to feel bad for, Cleveland has to be it.  (Well, maybe Seattle)
