I think we all expect a trade to happen but till then why aren't the celtics looking some veteran guys who play abroad to fill some needs? Guys like Randolph miloutinov songaila dorsey de colo misic even james could be very useful off the bench.. hope I am wrong Edward's isn't good enough.. and green ojeleje should be gone

Isn’t it often the case that top Euro players would be making considerably more than the minimum contracts NBA teams would be offering? Hard to persuade a guy to move overseas, take less money and a far lesser role.

I know parts of Europe have been hit hard, but Covid could make that an even harder sell given how prevalent it is in the US

Danny has a good track record here. Wouldn’t be surprised if we pick someone up.

maybe from next January but for now I heard its America First..... just kidding but I was just thinking today about Shane Larkin isnt he playing somewhere in Europe? He was very good for the Cs in 2018 playoffs, in fact they did not lose a series until he was injured.

Larkin has been one of the top5 Euroleague players since he left Boston  He earns a lot in Turkey and he is the leader of his team. He makes around 3m USD after taxes plus extras like car , house .... (i dont think he pays by himself for anything)  I doubt he settles again for a min contract and 8mins per game

Most of the other players mentioned can only be acquired through trades. Micic for example was recently traded to the thunder a few days ago. And even if DA makes the trade he has convince them to move to the NBA for less money and reduced  role.

I am not so high of him but still he is not an easy case. He is under contract and  Real wants 2m to let him go
